Immediate Opening for Welder/Fitter Welder/Fitter with 5+ years field experience. Applicant must be willing to train to perform other work activities, since welding currently occupies about 20% of the work time. The welder/fitter work description includes: lay out and fit, welds on fabricated, cast, and forged components. Aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel utilized in machinery frames, tanks, pressure vessels, furnace shells, as well as, "one of a kind" skid parts; according to blueprints and your knowledge of welding and metallurgy. Primary welding processes shall include tig, stick, mig, gas welding, oxy/acetylene, brazing and soldering. Training will be supplied in areas were required. Other activities shall include work involving liquid and vapor pump repair, repair in gasoline bulk tank farms, process refrigeration, heating and air conditioning, automated gates and fencing; and other mechanical devices. Training will be supplied until proficiency in a specific job function is demonstrated. Excellent wage, health (Highmark Blue Shield), 401K, vacation schedule.
